Lorie Candelmo is an amazing asset to our community (living here for over 25 years) and our organization! She has a passion for volunteering and making a difference with everything she touches. Since retiring from her 42+ years in global and sales marketing in the automotive industry she has been a SCO treasurer, Sound of Music chaperone chair, Sun Prairie Business and Education Partnership - BEP Board Member, Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce Secretary, Sun Prairie Optimist Club member, Vice President of the SP Education Foundation, Sun Prairie Museum Board Member, Sun Prairie Police Department advisory board and SP United Methodist Outreach and HR Board. In addition to all of those serving capacities, she can also be seen volunteering at the Sunshine Place, Sun Prairie Colonial Club doing Meals on Wheels, Corn Fest, DECA judge and any other thing she can say yes to!
Lorie's passion and drive to make our community better is interwoven in all she does!
When not seen volunteering and making an impact, she is making memories with her husband and daughter and putting just as much energy into her family.
Lorie, thank you for all you do for us on the Friends of the Neighborhood Navigators and every other organization you touch! Sun Prairie is so lucky to have you!
