An elderly man, recently widowed and struggling with depression after a fall, received referrals for senior living. He was later accepted into an elderly home, and his son looks forward to visiting him for chess games.
On a Friday, a Community Health Worker encountered a Muslim man traveling with his four children who had run out of money. They provided him with some cash and helpful referrals from 211, and later learned that the family arrived safely in California.
The team also held their first coaching meeting with Lisa Brooks, where they gained valuable insights and resources from the 211 guide.
